TO A BUTTERFLY - William Wordsworth
STAY near me–do not take thy flight!
A little longer stay in sight!
Much converse do I find in thee,
Historian of my infancy!
Float near me; do not yet depart!
Dead times revive in thee:
Thou bring’st, gay creature as thou art!
A solemn image to my heart,
My father’s family!
Oh! pleasant, pleasant were the days, 10
The time, when, in our childish plays,
My sister Emmeline and I
Together chased the butterfly!
A very hunter did I rush
Upon the prey:–with leaps and springs
I followed on from brake to bush;
But she, God love her, feared to brush
The dust from off its wings.
“To a Butterfly” is Wordsworths’ first poem (as far as I remember).
I am so glad that my Maharashtra Board was so kind in including (i guess) at least 4-5 of Wordsworths’ poems in our english syllabus throughout the years. Looking at them closely now, I could sense the diversity in which he would write his poems. Rarely would you find a poet whose work is taught in primary and secondary as well.
And no one can forget those mental pictures they create. Thats one of the main reason I got into “reading” poetry.

For those Eternal Mithun Fans
Mithun Chakraborty I feel is the most under-rated actor in the Industry. Well, to a certain extent he has got himself to blame. With films with titles like “Gautam-Govinda“, “Billa No 786“, “Aaj Ka Raavan” and “Yamraaj“, even an eternal mithun fan like me would find it tough to invest some $ to see them.
But All said and done, I truly feel, mithunda has (may be had) the talent to make it big. But then, everybody is not a golddigger right?…look at me :).
aaaaeee..kya karti?

My Good friend Taran Adarsh has done it again.
I went to indiafm.com just to check the review on Kisna. Mr. Taran Adarsh from indiafm.com gave Kisna ** . Now that certainly has excited me to see the movie. Why? ..do you say. Well the same Taran Adarsh has given Swades a *1/2 (which I think is the best movie coming out of bollywood this year..pretty close to YUVA) .
From what angle did u see the movie Mr. Adarsh? How can a person give, if not clearly brilliant, on Indian standards, a very good movie, a *1/2 ?
If you read this blog regularly, I had cribbed about Yuvas’ review too.
Keeping up to his standards, Mr. Adarsh has given me this great opportunity to cry again. I thank Thou.
So whats the ultimate Moral of this?
(In my case it works great).
Always watch movies that get ** or below at indiafm.com.
KISNA ..here I come.

All the legendary songs by Allah Rakha Rahman that need to be heard again and again.
This dude must be given the first nobel in music when the swedish queen thinks about adding that category.
