Plug –> In
New plug-in for Miranda that sets your MSN Mess. nick to the song you are listening on Winamp.
One of the 126373 reasons I like Miranda.
do the evolution
I walk out of my house with my I-River Plugged in, listening to “Saanwariya Saanwariya” and in no time do I reach the pedestrain signal (well’ call him tom) that seperates me from the eternal Gate 5. The climax of this story happens here.
Lucky, as I am, being first up to reach “tom”, I get the privilege of pressing the “I Wanna goto the otherside” button. At this time, there are atleast 3 people approaching towards “tom”. All of em’ see me exhibiting my birth right and then — disaster strikes. All of em come there an exhibit the same thing that I did 2 secs back in front of them.
Now I am imagining, did I do it wrong?, wasn’t my press worthy enuf to turn that RED Standing man to the GREEN Walking man?, or wasn’t I hard enuf?.
The point is, no-one in this world trusts anybody. Especially strangers. Now at this time, “Saanwariya Saanwariya” is all over and the 3 sec silence between songs made me think “Has so many years Evolution turned a human into such a pig?”. With this “Gosh!” of frustration, I see the “Happy Walking GREEN Man” and I say, chuck (read f**k) it, lets goto work :).
Journey
amateur poem composition
I don’t know why I am posting this. Never posted my poetic work- but feel like doing it now. It is very amateurish and pathetically composed, but I feel, can make u take a break in this race of yours’ — at least for some Gatorade.
Journey
when I thought that my destination was near,
I sat back and awed - there was nothing to worry about / nothing to fear
but then suddenly I changed the line of my thought
without this journey, what other pleasures have I got?
I cannot get that gratifying mixture of joy and sorrow,
there will no one from whom I can borrow
(verse 2 - change in line of thought)
life is like a house of cards,
lets its roots be built by your past
the futures’ gotta come,
the present is what you are
don’t think about your destination,
cause this journey my friend, is toooo far.
tech ramblings - peoples, ideas and markets
I visited the website of Ram Shriram (who is a major investor in Google) when I saw this presentation on google.
The biggest highlight - Slide which mentions about “Peoples, Ideas and Markets”
- Quality People build great companies (simplistic yet true)
- Orignality, completness of idea backed by some expression of its reality (ie prototype, customer use etc)
- Go where others are not going. Trust your intution, dont over analyse.
- Dream along any entrepreneur should before turning into a hard headed realist.
- Listen Well, absorb, reflect and then research the market space to test whether it can support your venture.
Now thats given me something to think about :).
